Hello, and welcome to my blog! ☆ ＼(＾▽＾＼)

My name is Vivien, but here on the Internets I go by the name vivi-chan~ I am a computer scientist by day and a gamer by night. I am also a part-time Pokémon trainer and a full-time collector. Shelf Life is a blog about the last-mentioned: my collecting hobby.

So what is it that I collect? If I had the disposable income, I would be hoarding anything that I find cool, cute, or simply awesome.  But for now, my collection is limited to only Nendoroids (a series of Japanese plastic figures) and occasionally some miniatures and other trading figures. Shelf Life is the place I’d like to use to share my interest in this particular hobby of mine. Future content will include reviews, photoshoots, rants, and even custom projects. As I have very few friends that are also into figures and collecting, I think that this would be a great way to discover and meet others with the same interests. I also enjoy taking a lot of photos of my figures, and it would be a waste if they just sat in my camera and on my hard drive all day. I am by no means an expert photographer by the way, but I hope you will enjoy them anyway o(≧▽≦)o
